The 26th Fall Home and Garden Expo, considered the largest fall consumer showcase in Iowa and Nebraska, was successfully held in Century Link Center, Omaha, on October 10–12. This year, the annual event saw tremendous growth both in attendance and the number of companies that presented their products, knowledge, and skills in home improvement.
The show displayed new trends and designs for garage construction, storage, workbench, shelving, automated doors, flooring, and resurfacing ideas. Also shown were various arts and crafts products, including paintings, pottery, and photography. Hobby tools and assorted home décor and gift items were also exhibited.
As with previous editions, this year’s Fall Home and Garden Expo gathered companies that offer heating and cooling units, kitchen and bath fixtures, electrical tools and home renovation equipment, remodeling tools, spa and pool equipment, roofing and flooring products, patios, construction tools, outdoor living solutions, and a whole lot more.
This much-awaited event has been beneficial to local homeowners who are particular about comparing different materials and costs for their home improvement needs. Moreover, with the attendance of several local contractors, visitors were introduced to the latest techniques and technology used in roof, gutter, siding, door, and window installation.
From “The Ultimate Garage Feature Display” to the popular “Hint of the Holidays” and a host of other attractions, the expo offered something for everyone in the family to enjoy. The locals also had the opportunity to meet John Colaneri, popular star of HGTV’s Cousins Undercover, who shared several clever home makeover ideas.
